So if Pappa John develops heart disease and subsequently becomes a spokesperson for heart health, are the media food Nazis going to demand that HE start making and hawking the benefits of lower fat, lower sodium pizza? Give me a break. Paula Deen is a brand - nothing more, nothing less.

I don't see how what this young man did is "courageous." If his faith is genuine, I suspect the day will come when he realizes how petty and misguided this was. Mr. Connah's point is dead on. Disappointment can be a bitter pill or a springboard to better things. A wise pastor would know that.
